People know about the Klan and the overt racism, but the killing of one’s soul little by little, day after day, is a lot worse than someone coming in your house and lynching you. Samuel L. Jackson
Tonight there was another massacre in Charleston, South Carolina. A white man, 21, opened fire at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church during a Bible study class, shot dead nine people and then fled the scene. What was it? Another manic psychosis? Come on! I am confident that the authorities will feed us with this particular tale. It is obvious this appalling and inhumane crime was committed on racial hatred! How else to explain the fact that the offender didn’t shoot the people passing by and had chosen the well-respected among the African-Americans church with quite rich history as the object of his attack?
No, it’s a real racism and I’m sure of it.
How dare our government to declare about human rights violations in any countries, to blame other governments in the United Nations while our country is torn apart by numerous mass riots motivated by racial intolerance? Human rights are violated several times per day in the USA but for some reasons the government loves to seek problems in other countries but here in America it does absolutely nothing!
Racial hatred in the United States is one of the main reasons of most riots in the country. And I pray to God not to see one day the news about my friend killed by a relative of one of the victims as the revenge.
I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality… I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word. Martin Luther King, Jr.
